Azerbaijani-American Council (AAC) is a non-profit organization established in 2006 with the primary purposes of facilitating active integration of Azerbaijani-Americans into U.S. public life and strengthening Azerbaijani-American identity. Through academic and cultural programs, grassroots advocacy, and in dialog with other communities, AAC seeks to promote Azerbaijani-American interests based upon the core American values of diversity and tolerance.

Since its inception, AAC served up to its commitment by organizing a number of educational and cultural programs increasing the visibility of Azerbaijani-Americans. The most prominent among these was the annual Azerbaijani-American Scholarly Forum (AASF) organized in UCLA (2006), in UC Berkeley (2007) and in UC Irvine (2008). AASF became the first ever national conference of Azerbaijani-Americans with the goals of community building and youth academic networking. With operations in California and Texas, AAC continues to expand to other U.S. states, in order to further integrate Azerbaijani-Americans.
